The FUCHSTHONE ORCHESTRA was a guest at the 39th Jazzfestival Würzburg on Oct. 27th, 2024 and presented the current program Reloaded #6.

The celebrated concert was recorded live and will be broadcast in parts in BR-KLASSIK “Jazztime” on Jan. 2nd, 2025 at 22.03 – 23.00.

The program will also include excerpts from the concert by our esteemed colleague Victoria Pohl and her trio. The well-known jazz presenter Beate Sampson will host the program.

Our premiere – FUCHSTHONE ORCHESTRA with Live Moving Images by video artist Claudia Schmitz as part of RELOADED#6 – on 31.08.24 in the Immanuelskirche in Wuppertal was impressive and a complete success.

With FUCHSTHONE RELOADED#6 we are inviting a guest for the first time in 2024: video artist Claudia Schmitz will be performing live on stage with us, meaning that the music will not only have compositional but also visual/conceptual trigger points. This is a very exciting process beforehand, as we are entering new fields of composition here. It will also be a radical rethink for everyone involved in the performance on stage, as musical interventions will not only come from the conducting, but will also take place through visual communication.
