FUCHSTHONE RELOADED #7 (2025)

PROJECT

The year 2025 is the year of a new departure: a “right now!” in difficult local and global political times. And we invite the young and brilliant vibraphonist/percussionist Evi Filippou for the upcoming fall tour.

Caroline Thon and Christina Fuchs are currently writing the new program for this
exciting encounter, which will be going on tour in NRW and southern Germany in November 2025.
To round off the year, the FUCHSTHONE ORCHESTRA are set to go into the studio with this program and Evi Filippou for their 2nd album, which will be released in 2026.

FUCHSTHONE RELOADED#

With their reloaded # concert series, the FUCHSTHONE ORCHESTRA, in cooperation with the European Center for Jazz and Contemporary Music / Stadtgarten Cologne, pursues the consistent ongoing development of their compositions in a direct exchange with the orchestra.

The FUCHSTHONE ORCHESTRA was a guest at the 39th Jazzfestival Würzburg on Oct. 27th, 2024 and presented the current program Reloaded #6.

The celebrated concert was recorded live and will be broadcast in parts in BR-KLASSIK “Jazztime” on Jan. 2nd, 2025 at 22.03 – 23.00.

The program will also include excerpts from the concert by our esteemed colleague Victoria Pohl and her trio. The well-known jazz presenter Henning Sieverts will host the program.
