The contemporary jazz ensemble FUCHSTHONE ORCHESTRA with over 20 musicians and two conductors was founded in 2019 by Christina Fuchs and Caroline Thon. Regarding the contents, the two musicians based in Cologne represent modern and unusual jazz compositions. In 2017, a joint concert program in Cologne’s Stadtgarten inspired them to found the ensemble FUCHSTHONE.

Caroline Thon and Christina Fuchs can look back on many years of experience with their own ensembles: Caroline with the “Thoneline Orchestra” and Christina with the “Soundscapes Orchestra”, before that she co-led for 17 years the “United Women’s Orchestra“.
