FUCHSTHONE ORCHESTRA – this contemporary jazz ensemble, featuring over 20 musicians and two conductors, was founded in 2019 by Christina Fuchs and Caroline Thon. Both Cologne-based composers are known for their modern, cross-genre sound for jazz orchestra.
They were nominated for the German Jazz Award in 2021 and 2025. In April 2023, they released their first joint album, “Structures & Beauty,” on Enja Records. Their second album, “Peaks & Plots,” will follow in 2026 on UNIT Records. Their regular concert series “RELOADED” has been expanded to include exciting guests since 2024
