The contemporary jazz ensemble FUCHSTHONE ORCHESTRA with over 20 musicians and two conductors was founded in 2019 by Christina Fuchs and Caroline Thon. The two female composers from Cologne stand for a modern and cross-genre sound for jazz orchestras. In 2021 they were nominated for the German Jazz Award. In April 2023 they will release their first collaborative album “Structures & Beauty” on Enja Records. Their regular concert series “Reloaded” in Cologne’s Stadtgarten continues and will be expanded with exciting guests starting in 2023.
