Wolf Schenk studied with Erik van Lier at the “Hilversum Conservatory” in the Netherlands. Since 1998 living in Cologne, he has participated in many, very different ensembles. These include the national big bands of the “WDR”, “HR” and “NDR”. He has performed with artists such as Herbie Hancock and Ray Charles.
As a permanent member of the “Cologne Contemporary Jazz Orchestra” and the “Paul Kuhn Big Band” he can be heard and seen frequently in Cologne. He is featured on several CDs or DVDs. These include productions by
