Jan Schneider

Jan Schneider, born in 1978, studied jazz trumpet with Andy Haderer at the Hochschule für Musik in Cologne from 1999 to 2004. Starting in 2000, he played in the LandesJugendJazzOrchester NRW and from 2002 to 2005 in the Bundesjazzorchester under the direction of Peter Herbolzheimer.
Jan Schneider has been a professional trumpet player and music teacher for 15 years.
He has performed at numerous national and international jazz festivals such as the North Sea Jazz Festival, Jazzfestival Saalfelden, Jazzfestival Burghausen and Jazz Open Stuttgart. Among other places, concert tours have taken him to Belarus, South Korea, South Africa, Venezuela and India.
Over the past few years, Jan Schneider has been able to distinguish himself particularly as a lead trumpet player in productions throughout Germany. In addition to numerous CD and studio productions, he regularly plays in theater, radio and TV productions as well as concert tours.
